To take as read and approve as a true record the minutes of the meeting of Hitchin Committee held on Tuesday, 6th December, 2016

3. NOTIFICATION OF OTHER BUSINESS

Members should notify the Chairman of other business that they wish to be discussed at the end of either Part I or Part II business set out in the agenda. They must state the circumstances that they consider justify the business being considered as a matter of urgency.

The Chairman will decide whether the item(s) raised will be considered.

4. CHAIRMAN'S ANNOUNCEMENTS

Members are reminded that any declarations of interest in respect of any business set out in the agenda, should be declared as either a Disclosable Pecuniary interest or Declarable Interest and are required to notify the Chairman of the nature of any interest declared at the commencement of the relevant item on the agenda. Members declaring a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest must withdraw from the meeting for the duration of the item. Members declaring a Declarable Interest which requires they leave the room under Paragraph 7.4 of the Code of Conduct, can speak on the item, but must leave the room before the debate and vote.

To receive a presentation from Sergeant Oliphant, Hertfordshire Constabulary.

To receive presentations and petitions from members of the public including:

7. GRANTS AND COMMUNITY UPDATE

REPORT OF THE STRATEGIC DIRECTOR OF FINANCE, POLICY AND GOVERNANCE

For the Committee to receive an update on activities in Hitchin and a review of budgets and determine grant applications.

8. SECTION 106 AND UNILATERAL UNDERTAKINGS

REPORT OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION MANAGER

To provide an annual update on the details of the current Section 106 agreements and Unilateral Undertakings within the wards/parishes in the area as at the 9th February 2017 and provide an update on the relevant legislation.

9. INFORMATION NOTE: NORTH HERTFORDSHIRE MUSEUM AND COMMUNITY FACILITY AT HITCHIN TOWN HALL

INFORMATION NOTE OF THE HEAD OF LEISURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

To receive an information note on the North Hertfordshire Museum and Community facility at Hitchin Town Hall.

10. INFORMATION NOTE: REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE HITCHIN MUSEUM BUILDING

NFORMATION NOTE OF THE HEAD OF FINANCE, PERFORMANCE AND ASSET MANAGEMENT

To receive an information note on repairs and maintenance of the Hitchin Museum Building.

11. INFORMATION NOTE: UPDATE ON THE DECISIONS REGARDING THE GREEN SPACE STRATEGY

To receive an information note on the decisions regarding the Green Space Strategy.

12. HITCHIN TOWN CENTRE MANAGER

To receive an oral presentation from the Hitchin Town Centre Manager.

13. WARD AND OUTSIDE ORGANISATIONS - MEMBERS’ REPORTS

To receive any oral reports from Members regarding Ward matters and Outside Organisations.

14. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION AT FUTURE MEETINGS

For the Committee to agree a list of items for consideration at future meetings.
